Describe your flagger horror story : i often post for people who do not have access to a computer. these are in no way breeders. most are people who are so badly affected by this failing economy that they can not care for their pet any longer. not only have ALL my ads been flagged, but i am constantly recieving harrassing emails, calling me a junkie and other not so pretty words because i am trying to find good homes for pets in need. craigslist has become a sick game for some real freaks out there. in all areas, but i think the pets pay the ultimate price when they dont get a good home.

Describe your flagger horror story : I post the most urgent cases of dogs at the pound. I have to sit at my computer around the clock trying to keep up with the flaggers. I practically have become obsessed with the computer because I have to keep checking to see if my ads have been removed yet. The dogs are desperately needing rescueing!

Describe your flagger horror story : I am with the XXXXX Animal Sanctuary - a non profit - and ove the past five weeks we have not been able to place any pets from Craigs list because the ads get removed within 30 minutes of posting. It does not seem to matter how we word our postings, we have tried various ways so as not to offend people but the postings still get removed...
this is becoming a serious problem that a group of people can cause so much havoc. Pity they could not become volunteers for a productive cause!!

Describe your flagger horror story : Luckily I don't have a *horror* story, I'm just out a lot of time posting, being flagged, rereading the guidelines, rewriting the ad and posting again and round and round I went thinking I had done something wrong. I guess I must have overlooked the part in their TOU that mentioned "oh by the way our site is strictly patrolled by trolls-If your unsure how to infuriate people we have made it easy by putting the flagging button right at the top."
They also need to clarify why they don't want people posting the same ad in multiple categories. Their reason is to save on space, they forgot to mention the space is needed for all the long posts and replies from people sick of being flagged and are now done with saving animals. (and/or now dumping them because they're sick of having to babysit their ad until it's flagged, so they can repost again.)
I originally was trying to find my son a kitten and the ads kept being deleted, so I posted one in hopes of one of the people with the kittens we were interested in would see it and contact me.
We had decided to look into getting a kitten that otherwise might not be placed, instead of going to a breeded. After reading all the posts from people "never going to rescue kittens again, due to the flagging", (to the pound they will go) I realized besides not having time to play the flag and repost game with annoying little trolls, the whole rescuing a kitten idea has went from good, to sad, to annoyed, done and saving myself anymore hassle and going back to the breeder.

FIND YOUR CITY TO THE LEFT!
Cool Tip!! - Implant an invisible free counter on your ad to see roughly how many people viewed your ad before it was removed which will give you a rough figure on the number of flags in your local area. If flagged off in 5 min and 12 people viewed your ad, 12 flags *might* be required in your city to remove an ad in that particular section that you posted in.
